In The Dark of the Grove

Oblivion House (Mar. 2023)

Horror, Small-Town Horror, Gothic Horror

Discover the dark heart of America’s heartland.
Kyle never wanted to return home after he was kicked out of his parent’s house. Now, he has no choice. He thought the awkward reunions with old friends would be the worst part. Until he found the secret note hidden in his father’s old typewriter. Until people in the small Indiana town started acting stranger than usual toward him. All the clues are leading him to the mysterious, isolated grove just outside of town. His investigative journalist instincts are kicking in, but nothing could prepare him for what’s waiting in the dark of the grove.

“Spellbinding, claustrophobic horror that was effective in every way–engaging characters, great scares, and a taut mystery.” — Michael Moreci (The Plot / Barbaric)

Sarah Jane Smith: Roving Reporter (OOP)

Pencil Tip Publishing (Apr. 2021)

Science Fiction
A celebration of popular Doctor Who companion Sarah Jane Smith. The collection features a comic book story I wrote and illustrated called “The Departure.” All proceeds for the charity book went to the British Columbia Cancer Foundation.

Wildthymes on the 22

Obverse Books (Nov. 2018)

Science Fiction, Fantasy
This collection features my story “Starstation to Starstaion.” It finds Doctor Who spin-off character Iris Wildthyme interacting with different figures from history. The title is a tip-off to which historical figure Iris encounters in my story. Although not in the way you might expect.

Eon Quest

Self-Published (Nov. 2015)

Science Fiction, Fantasy
A graphic novel that mimicked the style of “mini-comics” that were included with action figures in the 80s. This was originally created for an action figure line I tried to get funding for on Kickstarter. I’ve since made the graphic novel available digitally through Comixology. Features art by Eder Messias and Zid.

Grace & Witherbloom (OOP)

Self-Published (Nov. 2012)

Science Fiction, Steampunk
A collection of seven novellas published throughout 2012, it concerned the strange little girl Helen Grace and her faithful automaton companion Josiah Witherbloom. It’s now out of print as I pulled it to give it a better edit and revision. Which I’d still like to get to some day.
